1. Who Operates This Website
This website is operated by Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd on behalf of Flexo Printer Plates, a Midrand, Gauteng supplier of flexo photopolymer plates and related prepress services for label and packaging printers. The information on this site is intended for business use in South Africa and may be updated from time to time without notice.
We may change pages, service descriptions, delivery details, or contact processes as operations change. Continued use of the site after any update means you accept the revised terms.
2. Using The Site And Making An Enquiry
You may browse the site to learn about plate making, artwork preflight, file checking, screening support, proof comparison, plate trimming, plate labelling, remake support, dispatch packing, collection coordination, and technical job advice. Any enquiry submitted through the form on the contact page must be accurate, complete, and submitted by a person authorised to act for your business.
When you send us a message, you agree that we may use the details supplied to respond, prepare a quote, request artwork or job information, and coordinate the next step by courier or collection where needed.
- Do not submit false or incomplete job information.
- Do not use the site for unlawful, harmful, or misleading purposes.
- Do not attempt to interfere with site access, forms, or data.
3. Quotes, Orders, And Production Notes
Any price, lead time, or job note provided through the site or after an enquiry is an estimate until confirmed in writing. Final production depends on the quality of the artwork supplied, the suitability of the file, the approved specifications, and the instructions given by the customer.
Where a file needs checking, correction, rework, or remake support, those steps may affect the schedule and cost. The customer is responsible for approving proofs, confirming artwork, and checking that all dimensions, colours, trapping, screening, and text are correct before production continues.
- Changes after approval may require a revised quote.
- We may pause work until missing information is received.
- Special packing or courier requests may be charged separately.
4. Delivery, Collection, And Risk
We coordinate courier delivery across South Africa, including Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, Cape Town, Gqeberha, the East Rand, and the West Rand. Collection arrangements may also be made by prior agreement. Delivery dates are estimates only and can be affected by courier delays, load-shedding, traffic, weather, access restrictions, or public holidays.
Risk in the goods passes in line with the agreed collection or delivery arrangement once the plates leave our control or are handed over for collection. It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect received goods promptly and report any visible issue without delay.
5. Content Ownership And Permitted Use
All text, images, page layouts, job descriptions, and site materials remain the property of Flexo Printer Plates or its licensors, unless stated otherwise. You may view and print content for your internal business use, but you may not copy, publish, alter, resell, or repurpose it without written permission.
Any logo, trade mark, or product reference appearing on a customer file remains the property of its owner. We do not claim rights in customer-supplied artwork, and we expect customers to ensure they have authority to use the material they submit.
6. Liability, Law, And Contact
We take reasonable care in operating this site, but we do not guarantee that the site will always be uninterrupted, error free, or free from technical faults. To the fullest extent allowed by South African law, neither Flexo Printer Plates nor Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd will be liable for losses arising from site use, inaccurate information supplied by a user, delayed delivery, or production decisions made on incomplete instructions.
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. If you have a question about the terms or a live job, please use the enquiry form on our contact page so the matter can be handled through the correct channel.
