Delivery Information

We dispatch flexo photopolymer plates from Midrand, Gauteng to label and packaging printers across South Africa. If you need courier delivery or collection coordination, our team will guide the job from packing through to handover.

How courier dispatch works from Midrand

Orders are prepared at our Midrand base and packed for courier handover with the job details clearly marked. This helps reduce mix-ups at busy receiving points, especially when multiple plate sets are moving between prepress, print and dispatch teams.

Before release, we check the plate count, label each set and confirm the destination on the collection note. Where a job has special handling needs, such as flat packing or grouped dispatch for separate print units, we note that on the parcel so the courier receives clear instructions.

  • Plate sets are packed for safe road transport.
  • Job labels are applied for easy identification at receiving.
  • Dispatch notes are matched to the approved production file.
  • Collection handover can be arranged for a booked courier or customer driver.

Areas we serve across South Africa

We serve customers in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, Cape Town and Gqeberha, as well as the East Rand and West Rand. Midrand clients often collect directly, while printers in other towns use courier delivery for scheduled receiving at factory gates, warehouses or print plants.

For coastal destinations, packaging is prepared with transport in mind because humidity can affect how goods are handled on arrival and during unloading. If a site has strict receiving hours, municipal access rules or security check-in steps, tell us early so the dispatch can be matched to the site requirements.

  • Midrand delivery and collection coordination
  • Johannesburg and Pretoria delivery support
  • Durban, Cape Town and Gqeberha courier dispatch
  • East Rand and West Rand service coverage

Collection coordination for print shops and factories

Some customers send their own driver, while others use a contracted courier who picks up from our premises. We coordinate collection so the right plates leave with the right paperwork, which is important when a print run is split across more than one machine or when a remake needs to be separated from the main order.

If your driver is collecting from a busy industrial area, please allow time for loading bays, gate procedures and local traffic delays. In Midrand and surrounding areas, morning congestion can slow collections, so it helps to book the handover when the vehicle is actually ready.

  • Booked collections can be matched to your driver arrival time.
  • Collection notes can reflect partial loads or split consignments.
  • We can group multiple plate sets for one site receiving point.
  • Technical job notes travel with the order when needed.

Packing, labelling and job checks before dispatch

Good delivery starts with correct pre-dispatch checks. Our team handles artwork preflight, file checking, imposition planning, screening support and proof comparison before the plates are made, then the finished plates are trimmed and labelled for the route ahead. That means the courier receives a job that is easy to identify and simple to hand over at the other end.

We also offer remake support when a corrected file or revised layout is needed. If the original order must be reissued, we keep the new set clearly separated from the previous one so the printer can install the correct version without delay.

What to expect when your plates arrive

When the parcel reaches your site, check the outer packaging first, then confirm the plate labels against your job card or production sheet. If there is any concern about quantity, orientation or damage in transit, let us know as soon as possible so we can review the dispatch details with you.

Printers in South Africa often need plates on hand before an evening shift, during load-shedding windows or ahead of a weekend run. If you are planning a tight press schedule, it helps to have your receiving team ready before the vehicle arrives and to keep a dry, clean storage space for the plates.
